About 1,000 staff members across the Enid School District were taught the Run. Hide. Fight. active shooter response on Friday, September 1st. The training was at Louisiana State University National Center for Biomedical Research Center. They partnered with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety and Organization who brought six instructors who aided in training.
All staff members went through multiple simulations of an active shooter, which included simulated gunfire.
