The Oklahoma Conservation Commission put out the following press release:

Oklahoma Conservation Commission and Garfield County Conservation District are proud to announce the first annual Crossroads Conference, to be held at Autry Technology Center in Enid on July 19th and 20th.

Roy Pfaltzgraff will share the diverse, continuous crop rotation he is succeeding within a 14” rainfall area, and how to market high-value specialty crops that the elevator won’t take. Doug Ferguson, writer of the weekly “Doug’s Market Intel” blog at BEEF.com, will show you how to lock in livestock profits when you buy, instead of waiting and hoping the market will cooperate when you sell.

A creative lineup of urban farmers will share how anyone with a backyard can be part of our food system and preserve our natural resources. You can learn from these presenters and many more for just $50 per person! Registration closes Friday, July 7th so don’t wait to sign up! Go to okconservation.org or call the Garfield County Conservation District at 580-237-4321.
