The 21st Annual Fling at the Springs Music Festival returns to Government Springs Park.

A Fling at the Springs is a festival that hosts up and coming as well as experienced musicians and lets the public see their talent. It was originally a fundraiser when it was started 21 years ago by Sylvan Reynolds. Over time, the community came together to evolve the event into a non-profit organization whose focus is supporting live music and the arts. Fling at the Springs is funded through sponsorships and donations from the community.

The festival has seen some stars come through such as Bob Childers and Tom Skinner, both of whom played at the Fling and are now considered the godfathers of Oklahoma Red Dirt.

Stop by the park on Sept. 28 from 2-10 p.m. and be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Food trucks will be present throughout the event. Coolers are allowed, but may not contain glass.

KNID and KWOF have partnered with Fling at the Springs and will be broadcasting LIVE from the park! Be sure to stop by and say hi!
