August is shaping up to be a nostalgic night as ‘90s alt-rock bands Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms roll into the Lucky Star Amphitheater on August 9!
Doors open at 5 p.m., with the show starting at 6 p.m.
Formed in 1987 in Princeton, New Jersey, Blues Traveler is known for their harmonica-driven blues rock and jam band style. Their breakthrough came with the 1994 album Four, featuring hits like Run-Around and Hook. Despite lineup changes and personal challenges, the band has remained active, most recently releasing Traveler’s Soul in 2023.
Hailing from Tempe, Arizona, Gin Blossoms rose to fame with their 1992 album New Miserable Experience, featuring beloved tracks such as Hey Jealousy and Found Out About You. Their sound blends alternative rock with jangle pop and power pop influences.
Joining them as a special guest is the Spin Doctors, an American alt-rock band from New York City known for their infectious energy and hits like Two Princes and Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.
