Ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 school year for Enid, Chisholm and Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Schools, Technical Services has announced they will be testing and programming all school zone beacons throughout the community this week.
This testing will take place from Wednesday, Aug. 6 to Friday, Aug. 8.
All beacon schedules will be programmed to synch with the current school district calendars, which are available online.
During the testing of these beacons, motorists are reminded to obey the traffic laws and posted speed limits in all schools zones at all times, even during testing.
