The City of Enid has announced the construction of a rainwater detention basin for North Cleveland St.
Construction will span from Aug. 12 to Nov. 3 and from 612 North Cleveland St. to Fountain Lake Ave. The basin will enhance drainage and reduce potential flooding in the event of high rainfall.
Road closures are not anticipated; however, motorists should be prepared for intermittent flagging operations and possible delays throughout the project.
This closure will be contingent on weather, and motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive cautiously when in the construction area.
