April 22 (Reuters) – Shares of National Healthcare Properties fell 3.7% in their Nasdaq debut on Wednesday after the real estate investment trust raised $462 million in its U.S. initial public offering.
The New York-based company’s stock opened at $11.56 per share, compared with the $12 offer price.
National Healthcare Properties sold 38.5 million shares in its IPO, below the marketed range of $13 to $16 apiece.
The company is a self-managed REIT focusing on senior housing and healthcare real estate assets.
