Airbnb Offers Temporary Housing After Tornadoes and Severe Storms

Airbnb is offering free temporary housing to residents affected by the tornado that struck southeast Enid on April 23.

Stays are fully funded through Airbnb.org and donors, making them completely free for guests.

To apply, residents can call 211 and request temporary housing through Airbnb. Call takers will verify addresses using storm damage maps provided by the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management.

Once verified, 211 staff will submit the information to Airbnb, which will help connect residents with available stays in or near their area based on household needs, including room availability, pet-friendly options, and location.
