Enbridge nears $2 billion deal for Blackstone’s Pony Express crude pipeline, Bloomberg News reports

Sept 9 (Reuters) – Enbridge is in advanced talks to buy the major crude oil pipeline Pony Express Pipeline in the U.S. from Blackstone-owned Tallgrass Energy for about $2 billion, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be announced in the coming days, the report said.

No final decision has been made, and discussions could fall through or the timing could change, the report added.

Enbridge, Blackstone and Tallgrass Energy did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
