Sep 16 (Field Level Media) – The Chicago White Sox reinstated veteran outfielder Tommy Pham from the 10-day injured list on Wednesday.
The 38-year-old journeyman played one game for Chicago before going on the IL on Sept. 6 with a left calf strain.
The White Sox acquired Pham from the Philadelphia Phillies on Aug. 31. He is a career .256 hitter with 149 homers, 522 RBIs and 131 steals in 1,251 games with 10 teams since 2014.
The White Sox also reinstated right-hander Drew Thorpe from the 60-day IL and optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte along with catcher Edgar Quero.
