(Roseland, NJ) – Payroll processor ADP reports that private job creation increased in September following a brief slowdown. In their latest survey out today, the company says employment rose by 90-thousand for the month. That’s much higher than the downwardly revised 36-thousand in August. Most of the growth from this recent report was in education and health services, with 55-thousand new hires, while the financial activity sector lost 16-thousand jobs. The ADP survey only tracks private hiring, but economists view it as a good indication of what to expect for Friday’s government jobs report.
