(Washington, DC) – President Trump is blaming the ongoing student protests in France on “mass migration.” In a Truth Social post Tuesday, Trump said, “What’s happening in France is nothing less than out of control mass migration. This isn’t about schools, this is about Islam wanting to take over a once great Country!” U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz agrees with Trump, saying this is happening when you have unchecked immigration policy and overspending on government programs. The protests began with students joining their striking teachers to protest a lack of staff and resources, and has now become a national crisis with hundreds of schools forced to close and more than five-thousand taken into police custody.
