A fatal crash involving a motorcyclist happened in Kaw City on August 18th. The crash occurred at 9:11 AM, and it involved the driver of a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup. It happened inside the city limits. The motorcyclist was transported to Alliance Health in Ponca City and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff due to the injuries. The driver of the GMC Sierra was also transported to Alliance Health and was treated and released.
Some of the parties that assisted were: Kay/Noble County Detachment of Troop K, Pawnee/Osage County Detachment of Troop K, Washington County Detachment of Troop L, Kaw Nation Police Department, and Kaw City Fire Department and EMS.
