A Blanchard man has been sent to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident one mile outside of Nash in Grant County.
Antonio Reyes, 66, was travelling westbound on US-64 in his 2012 Ford truck early on Tuesday morning. The report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol claimed Reyes attempted to reach for an object in his truck before departing the roadway to the right. Then, Reyes overcorrected and departed the roadway to the left, rolling a little over one full time before coming to a rest.
Reyes was transported by ambulance to Integris Enid and was admitted with head and trunk internal injuries. The OHP reported that Reyes’ condition at the time of the accident was “apparently normal”.
The cause of the action was listed as “inattention”.
