The Enid Symphony Orchestra will be presenting Caroline Cox Turek as a part of its 2022-2023 Horizons Series. Turek has performed across the U.S. and Europe performing at Carnegie Hall in New York and in front of the Alps in Europe.
Turek is the winner of the 2012 Collegiate String Division at the National Music Teachers National Association competition in New York City. In an interview with CTB News Turek spoke about her concert and how it will have more of an American theme saying “The piece by Louis Ballard who is actually an Oklahoma Native and all of the ballerinas that are depicted in the ballet as well were from Oklahoma”.
She went on to say “I think it will be very relatable to an Oklahoma audience”.
