6 Firefighters from the Enid Fire Department volunteered at the Oklahoma Burn Survivors Camp in Tahlequah Oklahoma. The camp is free of charge to burn survivors ages 6-16 who were hospitalized due to their burns.
The Enid Fire Department also partnered with 107.1 KNID during the Guns N Hoses charity softball game in May to raise $1000 for the Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp. Several activities are held at the camp that help the burn survivors make lifelong friends with other burn survivors in a setting of support and acceptance.
