SHARE NOW

The Enid Police Department made the following Facebook post last week after the Ambucs officer of the month was named:

We want to thank ENID AM Ambucs for honoring Detective Randy Wilson this morning as the club’s Officer of the Month.
Randy was nominated by his supervisor for his recent work on a child pornography case.
This investigation began after receiving numerous tips from the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children in regard to the individual being flagged for his internet content. Randy began his investigation by collecting all the information he could on this Enid resident. He ran surveillance on the residence and prepared a search warrant that was served on April 13, 2023.
At the conclusion of the search warrant, Randy seized two laptops, 32 flash drives and 89 SD cards. He then obtained search warrants for the items he seized.
Randy spent two weeks searching through all of the SD Cards and Flash Drives. At the conclusion of the search, he recovered 867,994 images of children and child pornography on the devices.
The conclusion of the search can result in 58 counts of aggravated possession of child pornography.
Randy’s countless hours he has spent recovering this material shows his dedication to getting these types of criminals off the streets of Enid.
We want to thank Napoli’s Italian Restaurant, Excellent Food & Premier Cocktails, Bricktown Brewery – Enid and Jumbo Foods for providing gift cards to Randy for his recent work.
Job well done, sir!
