SHARE NOW

An eyewitness saw a gold SUV drive erratically, hopping a curb on the south side of Hackney on 4th and Willow at around 4:25 pm. According to the witness, the driver then continued into the grass colliding with a road sign, breaking the sign off of its base in the ground, and knocking it several feet from where the sign was originally placed.

The vehicle then reentered the roadway driving against traffic. Next, the vehicle finally came to a stop at 28th and Chestnut with both front tires blown and possibly the back tires blown or punctured as well.

Enid Police and Fire were quickly on the scene of the incident and next the engine of the vehicle caught fire before being extinguished by the Enid Fire Department.
