Gaslight Theatre To Present Grease: Revival Campaign Fundraiser

SHARE NOW

Gaslight Theatre presents its Revival Campaign Fundraiser Event: Grease, to fund their auditorium’s renovation.

Directed by Janet Jones, Grease is a 1950s-themed musical following head “greaser” Danny Zunk and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski as they relive their romantic “Summer Nights.” The rest of the gang sings and dances its way through songs such as “Greased Lightnin””, “It’s Raining on Prom Night” and “Alone at the Drive-In Movie.” From Rydell High’s senior class of 1959, the duck-tailed hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking, “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers. Recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley, this eight-year run on Broadway sets Grease amongst the world’s most popular musicals.

The show will run from Thursday, June 6 to Sunday, June 9. The showtime for Thursday-Saturday will be 7:30 p.m. while the show will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • $30 per person
  • $250 for a VIP Table
    • VIP Tables come with premier placement in the auditorium, a table for four, one bottle of wine or champagne, four exclusive Gaslight Investor tumblers, and charcuterie provided by Crazy Plate.
