Julie Nelson from the Hospice Circle of Love recently had an interview with EnidLIVE! about their upcoming Annual Booksale that they are having. It will be on Friday, October 13 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, October 14 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at their office on 314 South 3rd St.
Julie first spoke about the top-selling books that they sell at the event. Quoted by her, “The mysteries would be the number one section that we sell . . . we also have a huge section of fiction novels. We have a lot of non-fiction, and that ranges from everything from a biography to a history book, to a how-to or self-help, and lots of childrens books.”
Nelson also talked about what it takes to prepare for such an event. As stated by Julie, “We have a group of volunteers that come once a week throughout the entire year and sort the books as the donations come in.” She went on to say “People from the community donate books from us practically every day were hoping . . . We have several thousand books, probably fifteen or twenty thousand books, a lot.”
Proceeds from the event will go directly to Hospice Circle of Love to help care for their patients.
