Full interview with Ken Richter with FURever Friends
Ken Richter recently had an interview with EnidLIVE! about the upcoming Putts for Paws Fundraiser event, the organization is hosting. It will be at Pheasant Run Golf and begin at 1:00 pm, with a free pizza hut lunch at 12:00 pm
Ken spoke about the tournament as a whole, as well as touched on key parts. Quoted by him, “It’s a shotgun start at 1-o-clock, four teams scramble. Best ball, 18 holes; you don’t have to be a good golfer . . . and we are giving out a $100 gas gift card to the winning team, and a $50 gas card to the 2nd place team.”
Mr. Richter talked more about what his organization does to support local animals. As stated by Ken, “We rescue animals, mainly smaller dogs from local shelters.” He went on to say, “We rescue them from the pound here. We’ve had them surrendered to us. We’ve had them dumped off at our facility. We take them from different towns to; small-town shelters. Mainly smaller dogs just because we’re an open shelter and they roam free in there . . . We probably got 30-40 dogs at a time in our care.”
