Calling all Oklahomans, 107.1 KNID and The Feed Barn are accepting hurricane relief donations to support the citizens in Florida.
The supplies they are asking for include water, Gatorade, baby formula, liquid detergent, and diapers of all sizes. KNID and Feed Barn are taking donations starting now until Friday, Oct. 11. You can donate supplies to Chisholm Trail Broadcasting at 316 E. Willow Rd. or the Feed Barn at South 66th St. in Enid.
Florida is in the path of the category-five Hurricane Milton; it initially was a small tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico until it turned into a 180 mph hurricane and made a U-turn towards the Florida panhandle.
Milton is expected to hit tomorrow, Oct. 9; over 4,000 people have evacuated the panhandle to separate themselves from the storm. This is the worse direct hit from a hurricane Florida has seen in over a century.
