KNID Guns N Hoses and Enid Fire Department Help Raise $1000 for the Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp

Oklahoma Burn Survivor Camp Public Outreach Coordinator Rachelle Goddard Talks Money Raised From Guns N Hoses 

On Saturday, May 24th 107.1 KNID held its 3rd Annual KNID Guns N Hoses Charity Softball Game between the Enid Fire Department and the Enid Police Department. The Enid Fire Department defeated the Enid Police Department 14-3 and raised $1000 for their charity of choice the Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp.

The Oklahoma Burn Survivors Camp is a summer camp for burn survivors who can meet other burn survivors, make lifetime friends, and participate in a week of fun-filled activities. The Enid Fire Department Team Captain Cody Keller spoke about why they chose the Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp as their charity of choice.

“We’ve had a few guys go were sending 6 guys this year they say it’s a life-changing experience,” Keller said. Enidlive also spoke with the Oklahoma Burn Survivor Camp Public Outreach Coordinator Rachelle Goddard she spoke about the camp saying “we have glow in the dark flag football which has been a big favorite the last couple of years, we do a raft building contest”.
