Leonardo’s Children’s Museum Announces Museums for All Program

Leonardo’s Children’s Museum has announced that it has joined Museums for All, an access program with the goal of encouraging people of all backgrounds to visit museums.

Museums for All supports those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits by visiting Leonardo’s for a minimal $3.00 fee per person for a party of up to four people. Those seeking this reduced fee can acquire it with the presentation of a SNAP Electronics Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and photo ID.

“We’re very excited to join this growing national program and offer more access to families in our community and those living in Enid,” said Leonardo’s executive director Charlet Ringwald. “The more kids that come through our doors, the better. We hope to bring down the barriers that prevent people from [getting a] high-quality museum experience.

Museums for All is overseen by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), two organizations that work with thousands of museums across the country.

The program will be made available on Saturday, June 1 with general admission providing access to the main museum and the outdoor science playground Adventure Quest.
