The Enid Police Dept. Facebook page announced a fatality collision taking the life of 87-year-old Margaret Jane Krick.
Krick was pulling out on Rockwood Rd. in her Toyota Highlander when 72-year-old Jose Alvarado collided with her in his Ford Pickup. Life EMS transported both drivers to Integris Bass Baptist Hospital where Krick was pronounced deceased; Alvarado was treated and released.
Alvarado told officers he was traveling west on Willow when Krick pulled out at the stop sign; he said he could not avoid the crash.
The collision is still under investigation; witnesses are asked to contact the EPD at (580) 242-7000.
