Main Street Enid has announced the return of the Annual Enid Lights Up the Plains event!
This event has lit up downtown Enid for 31 years, filling it with holiday spirit. Every year, the event promises a memorable evening that the whole family can enjoy!
Enid Lights Up the Plains will feature a myriad of activities. Visit the shopping district and indulge in some Black Friday deals, let your kids ride in the B.A.T Mini Express ride, check out some unique items at the local vendors and enjoy some homemade snacks at the local food trucks!
Take a listen to the live performers featured at the event. Those performers will include local talents Justin Blasier, Jackson Anderson, Kegan Tuohy, Dave Roberts, Katie Pearce and Sean Gallagher. The Main Street Enid Christmas Band will also be performing.
OG&E will light the Tree of Lights on the Courthouse Lawn and display a beautiful light show to the tune with Christmas music.
After the music, the annual Parade of Lights will make its way through downtown. Local businesses, organizations, car clubs and more will light up the streets with their unique parade floats. The fireworks make a return as the finale of the evening.
Nov. 29 also marks the grand reopening of the Holiday on Ice Downtown Enid Ice rink; it will remain open for the winter season until Jan. 4, 2025. It is a fundraising event for a 501(c) Non-Profit Organization and assisted by the Stride Bank Center and the City of Enid.
