June 5 (Reuters) – A federal judge on Friday struck down policies President Donald Trump’s administration adopted that have barred people from countries on his travel ban list from getting final decisions on their asylum, work permit, green card, and citizenship applications.
U.S. District Judge John McConnell in Providence, Rhode Island, ruled that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services had adopted a series of unlawful policies targeting people from 39 African, Asian, Latin American and Middle Eastern countries.
