The City of Enid announced a several road closures set to happen in late May and beyond:
- Rose Tree Ln. will undergo full overlay asphalt repair from Tuesday, May 21 to Friday, May 24.
- The closure will span from Wedgewood Rd. to the curve on Rose Tree Ln.
- The fire hydrant installation on North Lincoln St. will be extended
- The expected end time is now Friday, May 24.
- The closure covers the northbound lane of North Lincoln St. at West Chestnut Ave.
- A portion of the alley at 401 West Broadway Ave. between South Jefferson St. and South Adams St. will be closed from Wednesday, May 22 to Wednesday, June 19
- The closure is being enforced to allow contractors to complete HVAC repairs
- The intersection of North Garland Rd. and West Chestnut Ave. will undergo traffic cabinet replacement on Wednesday, May 22
- The intersection will operate as a four-way stop for brief periods between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
These closures are subject to change due to weather. Motorists are encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and to drive cautiously in the aforementioned areas during the construction efforts.
