A single-vehicle accident one mile west of Hillsdale in Garfield County has left two people injured.
Donald Shearmire, 54, was travelling southbound on Oklahoma State Highway 132 and was approaching Buffalo Rd. when his vehicle exited the road to the right for an unknown reason. The vehicle would then go airborne, hit a fence and rolled one-and-a-half times.
Donald and his lone passenger, 60-year-old Sharon Shearmire, where both transported by Life EMS to Integris Bass Hospital in Enid where they were both admitted in stable condition. Donald was left with injuries to his neck and head while Sharon had injuries to her neck and internal trunk area.
Troopers on the scene reported that both Donald and Sharon were using their seatbelts. The condition of Donald at the time of the accident is currently under investigation.
