The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded to recent drone footage released by Hezbollah, stating that the footage, which purportedly shows the IDF Ramat David base, was captured by a drone used solely for photographic purposes and did not affect the base’s operations. The IDF emphasized their ongoing efforts to neutralize threats from Hezbollah’s aerial capabilities, having targeted hundreds of the group’s assets in recent months.
This announcement follows a pattern of provocative actions by Hezbollah, which earlier this year released footage depicting various strategic locations in Israel, including Haifa’s airport and sea ports. Hezbollah’s media relations officer, Muhammad Afif, stated that the release of such videos aims to send a clear message to Israel. However, the IDF remains steadfast, emphasizing that these surveillance attempts have not compromised the security of their operations.
