The annual Tri-State Music Festival is coming back for its 91st year of hosting band performances from across Oklahoma. With the special occasion, the festival board is bringing marching band parades back to Downtown Enid on Saturday, September 30th at 10:00 am.
The bands participating in the event are: Kremlin-Hillsdale Middle School, Emerson/Longfellow Middle School, Chisholm Middle School, Waller Middle School, Waukomis High School, Laverne High School, Kremlin-Hillsdale High School, Seiling High School, Alva High School, Hennessey High School, Fairview High School, Watonga High School, Chisholm High School, Stilwell High School, and Enid High Band.
The show competition will begin at 1:30 pm at the D. Bruce Selby Stadium. Awards will be given afterward. The judges for the event are Dr. Eric Pennello from the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Jeff Hastings from Altus High School, and Mr. Jeff Mcreynolds.
Alongside the marching competition, the pre-district band will occur on February 13-14th, 2024, and the spring festival on May 1-3rd, 2024.
