The City of Enid has announced a project intended to clear trees from a stretch of road on the south side of West Chestnut Ave., spanning from Garland Rd. to Briar Ridge Rd.
The project is set to last from Monday, Jan. 8 to Wednesday, Jan. 10.
Motorists have been encouraged to follow posted traffic control signs and exercise caution while driving through the area during the three-day period.
The utility work shouldn’t disrupt traffic flow and stoppages are not expected. The tree clearing will be limited to easements along the road, aiming to enhance the safety and efficiency in the area.
