Vehicle Rolls One-Half Times 5 Miles Away from Lamont, Oklahoma

A personal injury collision occurred on Friday, September 29th on Comanche Road near Lamont. The crash involved the driver of a Nissan KXS pickup. He was heading southbound on Comanche Road when he parted from the roadway to the right, striking a culvert, and rolled the vehicle one-half time coming to rest on its top in a ditch. The driver was pinned inside his car for about 30 minutes before the Lamont Fire Department freed him.

he suffered trunk injuries and was transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas in stable condition. he allegedly was traveling at unsafe speeds for a dirt road.

The crash was investigated by Trooper Mason Sparks #810 of the Garfield County Detachment of Troop J. and assisted by Trooper Jeff Jech #650, Trooper Aaron Crompton #851, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Lamont Fire Department, EagleMed, and Miller EMS.
