Park Avenue Thrift has announced that the 4th Annual Park Avenue Outlet event will make its return to Enid from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, August 16.
The event will take place indoors for the first time ever, being set up at Park Avenue Pop Up at 130 E. Randolph Ave. in Downtown Enid. Park Avenue Pop Up is a recently launched retail space created for the purpose of hosting community-focused shopping events throughout the year. The first event held at the Pop Up will be the Outlet.
Park Avenue Thrift Outlet is a fill-a-bag sale where anything that you can fit into a plastic grocery bag costs $5, while any individual item you can’t fit in your bag costs $1 each. Items at the event will include clothing, hardware, toys, media, linens, books and so much more.
Proceeds from the event will go towards Park Avenue Thrift’s ongoing mission of funding nonprofits and schools in the Enid community.
Bags will be provided at the event, but shoppers are welcome to bring their own. There is no limit to how many bags a shopper can fill; each bag will be five dollars. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted, and all sales are first come, first served with no holds or returns.
“We’ve had such a great response to our Outdoor Outlet since 2022, and we’re so excited to bring it indoors this year to kick off our new retail space,” said Park Avenue Thrift Executive Director Stela Jantzen. “Park Avenue Pop Up gives us the chance to dream bigger, try new things, and continue offering fun, affordable shopping experiences to our community. It also allows us to expand our mission of giving back to local nonprofits and schools.”
