The annual Fling at the Springs event is returning to Enid on Saturday, Sept. 27, for an evening of music and fellowship.
Starting at 2 p.m., the free concert allows several talented music groups to perform or gives up and coming musicians a chance to gain live experience.
The event has seen the likes of Oklahoma’s most prolific musicians and songwriters, including Bob Childers and Tim Skinner, both considered to be the godfathers of the Oklahoma Red Dirt music scene. Several young participants are now touring musicians.
The bands performing are listed below:
- Dually Noted
- Van Damage
- The Peachtrees
- Gus Burns & The Saddle Tramps
- Jake Taylor
- Kin Faux
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the day. Food trucks will be present; coolers are allowed, but may not contain glass.
97.7 The Hawk and 106.3 The Wolf will be LIVE at the event, giving updates from 2 to 4 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., respectively. Be sure to stop by, as there will be giveaway chances for local event tickets!
