On Sunday evening, Enid Police Department officers arrested Daniel Robert Mendoza, 39, and Mali Kay Slater, 20, on complaints of fentanyl trafficking.
Officer Robert McFadden stopped the pair for speeding in the 6500 block of East U.S. 412. McFadden’s K-9 partner, Mace, conducted a sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
During a search of the vehicle, officers found a ball of foil inside a nylon bag containing a rock-like substance, as well as a white powdery substance inside a plastic bottle.
