Northern Oklahoma College’s Criminal Justice Society visited the Enid Police Department on Sept. 26, giving students an inside look at law enforcement training and operations.
During the visit, students toured the Police Department and its training facilities and learned more about the responsibilities, challenges, and expectations law enforcement faces.
“Students were placed in realistic, rapidly-developing scenarios that required them to assess situations, communicate, make decisions, and determine an appropriate response,” said NOC Criminal Justice Director Troy Cochram. “The exercise provided valuable insight into the complexity of police decision-making and demonstrated how quickly circumstances can change during an encounter.”
