(Washington, DC) – Secretary of War Pete Hegseth says efforts to impeach him won’t work. Hegseth made the comments in a video posted on X yesterday after Kentucky GOP Representative Thomas Massie announced plans to introduce articles of impeachment against him. In the video Hegseth blamed the “sham” articles on “a disgruntled, defeated congressman, along with all his Democrat allies.” His comments come after President Trump said he isn’t planning to replace the secretary of war. The war in Iran has been highlighted as one of the main factors in the sweeping losses suffered by Republicans in the midterm elections.
