A two-vehicle collision that happened late on Saturday in Woodward has resulted in four teenagers being sent to the hospital.

Jeremiah Marvel, 42, was travelling along Country Road 202 in his 2005 Nissan Armada when he failed to brake for a 2014 Dodge Charger attempting a U-turn. Marvel made contact with the Charger on the driver’s side.

The four teenagers in the vehicle were all sent to medical facilities around the region, with two being flown by Air Evac to OU Medical Center and the other two being transported to Woodward Hospital. All four teenagers were admitted into their respective hospitals in stable condition.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Marvel was determined to be driving under the influence at the time of the incident. Marvel has since been treated and released from Woodward Hospital.
