In honor of National Kite Month, the 2024 Kites Over Enid festival will be held at the Richard Dermer Memorial Flying Field on from Saturday, April 20-21.
The goal of the festival is to introduce and reintroduce the joy of flying kites to children and adults alike.
The event will run from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. An All White Kite Memorial Fly will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday while a Red, White and Blue Display will be held at the same time on Sunday.
Wings of the Wind Kite Store will be on site as the event’s official kite vendor. There will be food trucks at on location.
