On Tuesday, May 16th the city of Enid passed their 2023-2024 budget 6-1 with only Rob Stallings voting against the budget. $183,854,015 in expenses are budgeted for the year while $177,454,805 in projected revenue is expected for 2023-2024. This gives the city budget a deficit of $6,399,210.
The city of Enid can also vote to add to the budget as needed and revenue does sometimes exceed projections. This year’s 2022-2023 original budget had budgeted expenses of $188,923,185 and budgeted revenue of $184,270,635 for a deficit of over 4 million dollars.
