The Enid Mayor and Board of Commissioners are having a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 19 after the Study Session.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm and will take place at the City Administration Building at 401 West Owen K. Garriott Rd.
Here are some items of note for the meeting:
A noticeably large consent to item 5.1 through 5.13:
5.1) Award a contract to Bloyer and Sons Inc., Wichita, Kansas, for Project No. M-2317C – Enid Public Library Roof Replacement, in the amount of $241,410.00; and authorize the Mayor to execute all contract documents.
5.2) Award a contract to Orion Security Solutions, Edmond, Oklahoma, for Project No. M-2412C – Kaw Lake Water Program Security, in the amount of $354,738.00, utilizing Oklahoma Statewide Contract No.1048; and authorize the Mayor to execute necessary documents.
5.3) Approve Amendment No. 8 with Garver Engineering, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for Project No. W-2112A – Kaw Lake Program, Phase 4 Construction Services, to extend the contract time for an additional five months to June 30, 2024, at no additional cost to the City; and authorize the Mayor to execute all documents.
5.4) Approve Change Order No. 3 with JMB Concrete Construction, Enid, Oklahoma, for Project No. R-2201C – 100-1000 Block West Elm Street Repair, in the amount of $55,561.00, accept the project as fully completed by the contractor, and authorize the Mayor to execute necessary documents.
5.5) Approve Unit Price Change Order No. 1 with Jackson Civil Co., Enid, Oklahoma, for Project No. W-2306C – 100 to 700 North Block 10th Street Waterline Relocation, in the amount of $108,288.36, and authorize the Mayor to execute all documents.
5.6) Approve amended Change Order No.1 with Southwest Water Works, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for Project No. W-2123C – Randolph Avenue, Van Buren Street to Washington Street Waterline Relocation, in the amount of $63,326.14.
5.7) Approve Change Order No. 3 with Rick Lorenz Construction, Enid, Oklahoma, for Project No. R-2202C -1600-2300 Block East Birch Avenue Reconstruction, to deduct $3,938.42, accept the project as fully completed by the contractor, and authorize the Mayor to execute all documents.
5.8) Approve Change Order No. 7 with North Central Construction, Stillwater, Oklahoma, for Project No. R-1913C, Soccer Park Transportation Improvements, to deduct $157,705.60, accept the project as fully completed by the contractor, and authorize the Mayor to execute all documents.
5.9) Accept a Public Utility Easement from Enid OK Retail LLC for 7 Brew Coffee, located at 4010 West Owen K. Garriott Road, and authorize the Mayor to execute necessary documents.
5.10) Approve an agreement with Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, a division of ONE Gas, Inc., an Oklahoma Corporation (“ONG”) for the extension of a gas main to serve the sewer lift station located at 2901 North 6th Street.
5.11) Approve a resolution replacing the City of Enid’s December 6, 2022 Finance Procedures Manual with the City of Enid’s December 19, 2023 Finance Procedures Manual.
5.12) Approve the purchase of Excess Workers’ Compensation Insurance from Arch Insurance, in the amount of $102,345.00.
5.13) Approval of claims in the amount of $4,262,779.99.
Another item of note is item 8.1: Consider awarding the purchase of one new 2023 Battle Motors frontload trash truck in the amount of $350,753.00.
